The concept of time

Il concetto di tempo

The weather is difficult to define and in this respect it is worth mentioning Sant Agostino ’ (354-430) who said: “What is ’ then the time?” If no one asks me , I know; If I try to explain it to anyone who asks for it, I don't know”.

“Time is what keeps things to happen all at once” (John Archibald Wheeler).

In classical mechanics the time is homogeneous (There are privileged over other points) that is, invariant when l ’ time source is moved to a different instant.
The magnitude scale time is defined by the relation: Δt = tf – you where tf is the final instant and the beginning.
